A bit about myself.
Rachel Kanter is an actor and singer based in Boston and New York City. She is currently completing her senior year at Boston University’s School of Theatre, earning her BFA in Acting alongside a concentration in Musical Theatre.
She recently returned from London, where she spent a semester studying classical acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), including training in stage combat.
In addition to her acting training, Rachel has extensive training in both classical voice and musical theater. She is also a self-taught guitarist and enjoys writing music in her free time.
Happening now
I am currently playing Electra in The Oresteia (adapted by Ellen McLaughlin) at The Joan & Edgar Booth Theatre at Boston University. The show runs April 17-26. Tickets available here.
